accelleration opinion

i was doing a lil datalog session, maybe u guys can help me get an idea.. from a 17 mph roll, to 87mph took 6.8 seconds according to my datalog. any significance here? fast? slow? makes me wanna go out and do a stop to 110mph run and see how many seconds it took.

0-51mph in 4.2seconds. seems slow.

Seems pretty quick, but the #'s are not real significant.
0-60 under 5 secs is considered quick still, right?
Head to the raceway bud.

I'll watch the low 13's quietly from the stands.
Gotta get that first trip under the belt, all uphill from there.

Stockish is around 6.5-7 I thought.

The TTA did 0-60 in 4.6, which still is impressive.

5.9 huh, where are those #'s from?
I guess that could be right.

I was getting my data from the GTA source page.
Of course I have a couple hundred extra pounds.

1989 Trans Am GTA with 5.7L V8 and 3.27 : 1 rear axle:
0 - 60 mph: 6.5 seconds

C&D sucks.
i'm sure those #'s are close though.
i would expect the iroc to be a tad faster than mine (stock).

what condition is it in? Not even good enough to turn into a track car? Look at it this way though Eric, someone already made into a POS for you so you don't have to do that part anymore. hahahaha

wasn't really that bad. it took a hit in the front. looking at it from the out side you really couldn't tell. I guess the bottom of the core support was bent up. the passenger finder was bondoed up, look clean on the outside but from the engine bay you could see that they hammered it out(eric didn't see). other than the noticeable repairs to the front the car wasn't that bad, the back bumper cover was ripped on the passenger corner. looks like maybe the car was backed into something. I think he was getting a hole lot of car for $900. the driver seat had the usual wear but for the most part the interior was clean. all the parts where there for the motor. just needed a nice long block

haha, good stuff.
maybe i'll sell my gta and buy 10 crappy 3rd gen 'birds.

i'm sure after eric sells his car to robby or whoever he can aim on a better iroc.
no need to buy another beater, 3 is enough.

i wanted that iroc it was red g92 hard top he listed it as "clean"

if the body was straight i would have paid cash but its not

the core support was bent in parts and repaired in others, the apron rails and part of the strut housing was pulled/bondoed and painted and it had the begginnings of cancer in places so not a good track car even the body wasnt straight

i have been looking at cars in the 3-6K range and i am very perticular in what im looking for. turned down alot of cars looking at this one in ny gonna have to figure out how im gonna get it
