just to answer a few questions about the car from the other thread. It was owned by the guy's mom for a long time and the guy just bought it from her and sold it a few months later I guess he ended up buying a motorcycle or something . Anyways, the mods were brand new to it so I don't think it lived a life of racing. It was owned by the state if I recall. Be cool to race Harjeet, that would probably be close? I'll be leaving work at 4:30.

Traviz, what did you run. I went up there but i didnt see you run and i went to your car but you wernt there. I saw a ws6 run, it looked like phat89's but im not sure. There were too many imports and most of the V-8s were slow so i left. First time going to sac but i like sears point better.

Dang Robby, looks like that LS1's mods have you close to 12's.
All 3 of you high rollers edged me out of the top 5, doh!

Sorry I missed your calls Travis/Eric, I was swamped with stuff to do and couldn't make it.
If all goes well in the next week, I could be a homeowner!
It takes a lot of work and time though to get things done.

I am dissapointed with my times, but not very dissapointed, at least im not running 14's.. but i am not running 12's. Few things I want to take care of before I go again which includes finishing the exhaust and getting an actual wideband tune.

-time to go update the nor cal fastest.

hey del what mph were you running? i have 105 on avg.

I had a good time, it was fun to get out there and race. Travis' car sounded awesome, I love the idle on it. Even getting there a bit late, I was able to get 5 runs in! My first run was about 30 seconds after teching in lol, and ran a 13.3 @ 106. My other runs were also pretty consistant low 13's, my best that night being a 13.1 @ 108 mph! I think this car has potential to be in the 12's with some traction! Hopefully I'll install my Ls6 intake, March balancer, get it tuned, and trap 110! Much more fun to drive than the 305, that's for damn sure.

I still really like thirdgens, just not the 305 TPI ones lol. I just like both I guess, the focus is just going to be this car for a while until I feel like getting back into the thirdgen world. Think about all the work you've done to your car and all that knowledge you've had to pick up and all the trial and error you've done to have done what you've done with your car. I don't have all that time to do that with college right around the corner. As for my brother, he doesn't really care about it lol, he just thinks of it as another car.

My best time was a 13.43 @107.93mph. G-ride my car looks totally stock. Only thing that stands out are my sequential taillights. Robby ur car is a definatly a beast. It definatly needs a dyno tune, after that, hello mid 12's. Travis ur car is fast no question about that. need some fine tuning, that car will desimate all. Me on the other hand need to get my long tubes any y-pipe so i can get my damn ses light turned off. Eric, nice meeting you, ur car is quick. All ya car sounds wicked. dammit i need my cutout. Hey robby, welcome to the world of ls1

That 108 of yours Robby is good for 12.5's!
Strap on some slicks bud and you're set.
How'd it feel to pick up 2+ full seconds and 20mphs? haha.

It sucks how much all these bills take away from the cars.I remember before I got married I pretty much had rent, insurance, and mod money.
It's taking all my extra cash just to keep this clunker on the road.Seems like once I fix one thing something else goes out.I still have to spend 300 bucks to replace the axles, it's all going to repairs rather than mods.

Hey guys Forgot to mention, but thought its pretty cool (del:READ) my buddy Don, with his old nova, stock corvette TPI engine with blockhugger headers and a T5 tranny was grabbing 13.8's 13.9's all night.

its cool what a weight savings will do to a car huh?

How much does that Nova weigh?

Can only imagine where I'd be if I lost some weight.
I'm probably tipping the scales at close to 3700 with me in it.
I bet if I knocked out 200lbs I'd have a shot at a low 13.

Oh yeah, most definitely.
I've always held that I'd keep all options (luxuries) and run it at the street like I do at the track.
I'm not going to remove a/c, smog, etc, but there's ways to remove some more weight I'm sure.
I should get one of those mini-starters to save some, any recommendations?
Already got a lighter Edel. water pump.
Possibly the back seats out for the track, who knows.
I've got my 1 10" sub too, but will leave that in.
