Worst thing about your car
So what is the #1 thing you hate worst about your car? What bugs you most!
for me, its the body, I woud like it painted/lowered/wheels.
but I have this engine I want to get in order first with the TC/gears/exhaust/map swap.

The thing I hate most about my car.....Probably that d#mn sunroof. I HATE that thing. It leaks bad in rain and the car wash....
The thing I hate most is the numerous pieces that had to be sanded to perfection to get the car painted.I will bet I have almost 45 hours in all the ground effect pieces and fenders/quarters gettin them ready to paint. But I will say I am doing something i enjoy with rebuilding the engine that makes me feel better. Also the end result was sooo thankful. You see all the hard work, and the great results

that the car is a v6
that and the paint...
the body is straight, no dents/dings, though bondo is coming up
stupid maaco and they're crapy paint jobs.

wtf do all these foreigners come from?
are we that awesome in the west coast board that they come from all around to see?
The only thing that bugs me is the lack of a smooth ride and noises.
For being a low miler, it still rattles and squeaks in certain areas that are hard to pin point and the ride is definitely bumpy.
Would love for it to be as smooth and quiet as my Supra feels.

Like Del, I hate the ride, well, not the ride but the noises associated with the ride.It would be a lot better if my hatch pulled down all the way,it rattles like crazy right now and the dash pieces rattling, I'll pull'em and line them with silicone like I did on my 87.Of course the paint job blows too.The 700 r4 shifting all the time.

Well the noise used to bother me, but I crank the stereo and roll down the windows most the time anyways. But now it's lack of traction and power. Both areas I can work on, but frustating none the less.

I hate the giant gap between my hood and the nose. It looks like my hood isn't closed all the way.
I hate my chipped up front spoiler.
I hate having a manual.
I hate not having at least 300 hp.
There is an annoying rattle coming from somewhere but I can't quite pinpoint where exactly...
That's about it... Fixing most of those though

Well lets see with my old 1982 Trans Am with the Crossfire injected LU5 and a 3-speed automatic where can I start huh?
Lets see...
Spark plug locations required lifting of the car to get to all of them
Engine would randomly die whenever it felt like it
Sticky lifters
Leaking T-tops
Leaking rear hatch
Water would build up in the rear storage compartment
Cracked dash
Broken Power door locks
The fact that I had a screw driver handle for the passenger side seat's lift thing for making it move
Shot suspension, shocks shot, springs shot
Shifter button that would pop out at random
Broken e-brake
Warped plastic center console
The fact that at 60mph on the freeway i'de be at 3000rpm so in reality I got worse gas mileage on the freeway then I ever did in town
Bent rims so the car would never quite drive straight
165hp and 240tq
Best gas mileage I ever got was 15mpg, worst was 9mpg
Torn headliner
Despite having a straight body there were multiple dents and scratchs
Broken tripmeter reset
Leaked tons of oil
Plenty of electrical problems
Busted AC system
Broken rear defroster, the button still lit up though!
Offset key hole for the rear hatch
The fact that in the first week of driving it the jimmy-rigged muffler and pipes came lose and stabbed a hole in the muffler, then the transmission mount broke, then I found out the cars alignment was off by a whole degree.
My new 99 V6 Firebird is in almost every respect better than that car, but I still miss her.
