New body mods???
Well I've been thinking. My 2 year old son is obsessed with knight rider, he would rather watch that than his cartoons. Everytime he sees it he says, "dads car".I have been thinking of doing a kitt build up but I don't want it to be exact. I am thinking of ditching the ground effects on the t/a, adding a kitt nose and scanner but I still want the custom wheels, and maybe paint it Chrysler platnum or black, and doing the interior in all black with 4th gen seats. Maybe once I hit the lotto or have some extra cash I will do the dash too but for now it'll make him happy. I want to do a build that he loves like I wish I could have done with my dad but i want it to have the cool things like wheels, paint and interior. Most of you guys will probably flame but, I think my son would love it.
What do you guys think?

could always say its KARR.
I say go for it, but find a way to just add the scanner to the stock front bumper. The KITT bumper looks like ****

I dig Knight Rider naturally as a 3rd gen Firebird/Formula fan.
Would be cool to have a few converted items done in your own way.
Screw the full dash, but all black and a formy hood is always cool.
I've had a sweet scanner bar forever that I plan to put in eventually, no nose reqd.
It's so sweet and cheesy. Enjoy.
80s TV was so bad it was good

You know how many times my son has made me watch that Kitt/Karr clip
I have checked all those sites and plan on purchasing some things. Del, you have any pics of the scanner you have?I would like to see what it looks like with no nose mods, I'm not a fan of the kitt nose either but I have seen a few that look pretty good.

Yeah I saw that too. I am undecided on the dash though. I like t because I grew up watching that show and thought kitt was the coolest thing ever and it would be cool to drive at night, but it is alot of crap.

Yeah that's how I feel about the dash too.
Looks cool, but might be a lot of work and cause more problems than worth.
You're talking to a guy who bought the cheesy 87-88 Digital Dash because I liked the "effect", haha.
I don't see me using it anytime soon though.

Hmm doesn't look too bad, but the damn scanner is blocking the air inlet to my lid so theres goes that idea.

Honestly, I think it would take away from your car. I hated mine in my 87. I think dakota digital makes a cool 1 for the birds though.

Neat, never seen that 4th gen one before.
The chick don't look too bad either.
Yeah, I'll probably end up selling my digi-dash or saving it for another 3rd gen.
I don't want to hack up my dash and remove my 63K odometer.

I would have to disagree at least with the interior dash, I hear its very uncomfortable for the passengers.
