9 wires would mean 8 spark plug wires and one coil wire. So yes, that would be a V8. If DMV says it's a V6, and you have a V8, it may have been a V6 that was swapped. What year is it. I simple pic of the underhood will help us identify it. BTW, wrong thread for this ?, but your new here , right? Hope we can help you and see you at the GTG. Daniel U

I would imagine that Easter weekend would be a very BUSY weekend around there. I think we will need to set a date here very soon to give everyone time to request time off work and check schedules for any conflicts. I'm going to drop some dates here, I need responses from everyone planning on attending as to which date(s) will work best for them...

April 14 & 15
April 21 & 22
April 28 & 29
May 5 & 6

Please give me the 3 dates that will work best for each person, rank 1, 2, 3. Thanks guys.

Ryan

Benthefrench - Did you just recently purchase that V6 from an older gentleman?
There was a similar looking 'bird owner that posted here and had sold his recently.

I'm good for the later weeks in April, not the first week of April or May.

I'm not 100% sure I can make this one yet, so I won't tell you which dates work better. As of now, I have nothing planned that far out(except my wifes birthday on the 27th). So I'll just have to get the time off work when you set the date. The sooner you set the date the better for me. I'll probably get someone to watch the kiddo so my wife and I can get away for a bit(alone). Daniel U

well fortunatley i'm very flexible, i don't work weekends .

I think that late april would be good just because it gives people a couple of extra weeks to finish their mods, and it might take me that long to convince my wife to make some enchiladas, plus my wife and i have stuff planned through out may. April 28 & 29 sound good??? anyone got a better suggestion?
by the way keep in mind that the later it gets the more expensive hotels get, so if we decide on a weekend (whoever will spend the nite in SC) people should make reservations now

Re: Time to start planning!!!

I'm going to have to bow out on this one as well if you guys want to do it at the end of this month. Work has been an absolute nightmare the last month or 2 and I have no one here to cover for me to take time off to attend. When I started planning this everything was going well, but not now. Sorry guys, but if you do go make sure to take lots of pictures and have a great time.

Re: Time to start planning!!!

Another example why it's probably not a good idea to start threads for GTG's 6 months before they might happen.

I don't see this meet going anywhere either, but I will give it another week or 2 before dropping it off the stickies here.

Most folks probably should have their eyes set on the June 2 meet vs the So-Calers.
