block filler
Anyone familiar with this stuff locally?
Popped a minor hole in my water jacket tonight doing the final clearancing for my rod bolts, right under the oil pan rail.
I think I will check tognottis for a block filler, just use enough to fill the hole, so I wont chance distorting my cylinder walls.
Also heard of good stuff called devcon, anyone know of this stuff?

Re: block filler
When I lived in CA we used Belzona a lot. I used to use it to rebuild worn out counterbores in the bottom of diesel truck engine blocks. We could actually machine it like it was cast iron after we put it in. Made the block re-useable and we ran a lot of miles on those engines, hard miles, and never had a failure from that.
We also used it to fix an old CAT block on the outside from a freeze that broke the water jacket. It was running when I left in a bulldozer for 2+ years...
