Help???
Ok guys i have decided to rip off all of the smog stuff once i get my formula smogged. I plan on putting on long tube headers and a true dual exhaust system with no cats. My question is is that i have a 350 with a TBI set up. Will i need to do any thing with the EGR valve and will i get a check engine light after i do this. I wont be running any smog equipment at all on the vehicle no smog pump or cat. And i was wondering if any one had done this and if you had any advise.

I refuse to respond because it may incriminate me.
Seriously, you only want to kepp the car around for two years at most after you smog, right? You might as well plan on burning a chip that ignores the mutliple codes your car is going to have once you do all this.
Poor car.

Re: Help???
I can relate to ditching everything for the sake of cleaning up the engine bay, but why remove the EGR? It only helps part throttle performance and shuts itself off when your hard into the throttle anyway, and it takes up zero space. It doesn't rob you any power.
