Well, I have been driving my Camaro for about a month now, so I can actually get it to a meet again. I was thinking a cruise/ BBQ as we have done in the past.... If there is interest, let's get it in the works. My dates/times are sort of tight with my job and son in football, but we could get something going. I am open to having the BBQ at my place if need be, but be warned that I am on a 1/4 mile of poor dirt road.

At the race track it is. Been wanting to go to the track again. That would be awesome to have a GTG at the track. We'll see who has the quickest FI 3rd gen.

Absolutely, we need all the help we can get! We just picked up a golf to use as a tow vehicle, to bring the car into the staging lanes & pick it up at the end of the track. We also need someone to video & take pictures so we can post them on the website.

Lets see how much timing & spray it takes to get the bird into the 11's

No Jokie falls is one heck of a drive for the Northern guys up near Sac. I would like to go down there again too, but I really think it would be a poor Nor-Cal turn out. Famoso is the perfect meeting spot, driving wise... My sons Football schedule has not been released yet, so I can't set something in stone for us, but I figured everyones input would result in a date...

I'm just fooling around too, my new motor is still being put together.

It'll be a few weeks before its even ready to drop in.

but we should still run. You should just spray a 75 shot, that wont hurt at all, & you'll be surprised when you drop a 1/2 - full second on your time.

As for huckleburry, you & a couple others are on my hit list.

Sorry to hijack the thread with a NorCal vs SoCal thing.

Famoso is having a North-South shootout on Nov 8-9 but its imports only. I dont see any other test-n-tune dates on a Saturday. I've been trying to get an EFI drag racing event going over at the LS1 site but so far I havent been too lucky in attracting interest.

I'm willing to go for a bar-b-q but I think Jason's in Paso Robles is as far North as I'd go. I dont know of any parks in that area.

There are plenty of Parks in Paso Robles. There's one right off the 46 (Barney Swartz). If it's too hot there's a water park across the street. Not sure what it costs? Most of the Parks have BBQ areas. I'm a big fan of a Central Cal. GTG. It'd be nice to meet some So. Cal. people.

how bout this Saturday the 13th (09-13-08), i work mon - fri swing shift (2-10:30pm) so test n tunes are normally out of the question.

Am i correct in assuming ill be racing that 3rd gen firebird of yours? Seeing how i've never met you and haven't seen your car i'd be upset if I showed up and was racing some big tire car. That being said imma go out on a limb here and also know that you're not just going to give 200 dollars away either. So tell you what, whatever you're wheeling long as it comes out with stock suspension on a true 10.5 or smaller you gotta lane. My cars in the sig, no secrets on this end.

ALSO, i want the money locked up with a 3rd party we each know (like i said, i'm comfortable with Mikey, or Vinnie, hopefully u know them) before I even head out there. They both have paypal so nobodys gotta travel.

Pro tree, red light lose, don't show you forfeit the money, break you forfeit the money, don't want to race anymore you forfeit the money. Simple enough right?
