There are more bars to be welded in. Hence the title says "git n ready". Let say 120 lbs worth of metal going in.......

Yeah side cross bar, & 2 side door bars go in on Monday. The entire roll bar assy weighs 92 lbs.

I finally gutted the last few remaining pieces of interior plastic & insulation which weighed in at 30 lbs. So its almost turning out to be a wash.

J/K does not make it better.

I have said it before and I will say it again, my car is not a drag car. I put more miles on that car that all of you roll caged, pulled off the insurance in the winter, trailer queen drivers.

Just because no one either a) Makes it out to the dragstrip or b) Has the ***** to post a slower time than me on the "**** list" doesn't mean I am slow.

Tired of hearing about it.

With that said, glad to see more progress!

I'm just about done w/ this site, because I post a comment just as if I was standing right next to you. I'm just talking some trash & then someone takes it to the next level. This is how me & Jess got into it. So F... it, I'm done w/ it.

Vin, I meant not Disrespect, there is a difference between a track car & a daily driver. I respect that. Its all in fun. Its not like I own a Mustang, & I'm talking sh*t.

You said "always late, but worth the wait" so I was just responding to your "late" post. You were poking fun at my "super cage" so....right back at ya.

Re: Git N ready

I own a 3rd gen car,so do you, so....lets all try to get along.

I started my 3rd gen life w/ a $400 1991 Formula, (3rdbird). I started doing this & that, then I ended back up at the track, because I dont have the discipline or self control to drive a fast car on the street. Thats why my cars end up at the track.

I cant wait to see your car with the new engine at the track!

Hopefully next year we can do another NorCal vs SoCal at Famoso.

Dont worry about my sandy vagina, I've been divorced from her a long time now.

As for the rant, I guess it just happens.

BTW if Norcal is so slow, where does that put your 12.80 car? haha

Sorry I couldnt resist

I agree, we should do a "North/South Shoot Out". Although its pretty late in the season, its probably looking like it may have to happen some time next spring. Is there a track thats centrally located, so its not on either ones turf? How about The Strip In Las Vagas?

Re: Git N ready

I looked at your track times, and you only have five cars listed? And your 12.2 is with nitrous. So I'm slower than you when you're on the bottle. What are your non-nitrous times?

And, my 12.80 is from 2001. No idea what it would do now, I havent been to the track.

I'm trying to get something at Famoso on Nov 8th. Just waiting for the track to call me back.

Las Vegas would be nice but very expensive for both you guys and us in the South.

My non No2 times almost put my car in the commuter lane, haha. The motor is bone stock & put a best of 13.7 last week when the WOT switch didnt work.

Now for the new motor, thats a hole different story. The new one is a high comp, high lift, full mech roller, forged, studed, ARP everything, balanced, ported, sonic'd, parallel'd , Alum head, TPIS, MSD, Comp Drivetrain.
Pro built to run 200 + HP shot of no2. This this is a BadMoFo.

How far is Famoso from Sac. what town is it in? I'm down, got a new 24' enclosed trailer to haul it in too!

Okay then I'd say Norcal VS Socal at Famoso next year around March or April. Like Jesse says "hood shut and race on". No excuses. I better stop talking smack, I don't want to get too cocky.

Supercharger is permanent, nitrous is not.

Famoso is just north of Bakersfield off Highway 99. I think it'd take about 4 hours to get there from Sacramento.

The LS1Tech.com guys are renting the track on Nov 22nd but they want $105 per car for 75 cars. Too rich for my blood.

Next year is the Los Angeles Invasion but that's at Fontana Dragway, about 8 hours south of Sacramento.
