wow, this thread sure changed direction since I last logged in, what happened? Any talks of new meets yet?

 

we got the one at mells today. and at marcs in couple months.

 

Yeah I knew about Mel's, I tried like hell to get the day off. I even thought of calling in sick, but I talked to so many people about taking the day off they would have known I wasn't sick. Bum deal, but I will be looking forward to a meet at Marcs, I might even have my Z28 running by then.

 

The last meet at Marc's was awesome and I know him and Bennie will go out of the way to make it sweet. Definitely don't miss the next one fry man.

 

No Pressure, haha. I've been trying to think of something to do, maybe just the same, just a little more simpler, something so I dont end up busting my ***.

Those are all good, but didn't you get some complaints from some of the business manager's around your shop because of our burnouts?

I don't think I will score best looking or anything like that, but i may have a shot at longest distance traveled to the meet. I am pretty sure it is just shy of 300 miles to the Rocklin area for me. Trophies or not, I wouldn't miss this one for anything.

 

Let me know if you want to meet up anywhere, I don't know if you are going through Yuba City or where, but I may be able to meet you somewhere along the way there.

 

Normally I would roll through Reno then hit I-80 down to Sac, but if you want to caravan I would be happy to go through Chico. All the better for a longest trip trophy, that should add a few more miles.

 

No complaints, my neighbors know the red Firebird does burnouts regularly. Some things are just out of my control.

Like I said, burnouts will be done when you leave, and on the exit driveway!

 

Sounds like alot of fun. Hope its on a sunday or monday. I will worry about trophies once i get my baby lookin beautiful.

 

Got the antenna on the car. so its got a stock one agian. still wish i had the motor antenna. I am going to clean up an paint the front skirt/ ground affect, then put that on her. Alittle here an there.

Our stickers/shirts don't make mention of where.

Would be cool to have a dozen or so to stick on a 3rd gen you come across, or pass out at the track if you meet, or see one.

 

You know Del, I was thinking of doing that very thing myself. My thought was to simly put the web link in a lower corner of the card with an emblem similar to my avatar pic in the center. There are a few other third gens around here with owners who obviously love their cars.

 

or we could just get a Lil sticker to put under big sticker
