No I shaved both door handles and antenna,

thanks guys. its definitely a work in progress, i've done a LOT to it so far and theres still a lot yet to do. either way, I'm not giving it up no matter how many times I'm asked "Wanna sell it?!" lol. (I sware!, every freakin time i pull up to a gas station) lol.

 

Long story short: I bought it back in JAN. from an owner that used to "stomp on mustangs 24/7" as he put it. - I'm pretty sure I saved it from certain doom seeing as how the tires were bald, the sway bar bushings were shot in the back, rear brakes didn't work At All, and only one brake in the front was working properly, tie rod connections were an oval shape...Just to list a few things. I'm massively surprised it made the trip from Fresno to Modesto without giving me a single problem. I've come to think it just wanted a new home. I wasn't aware of these problems when I got the car however its been a great adventure learning all about it. When I test drove it, it seemed to run well enough to be a fixer upper so i snagged it up seeing as how it was the exact year & options as i'd want had I ordered it in 87, cept I want it to be white...eventually.
