new to the site

Hi, new to the site here and interested in purchasing an 87-88 Trans Am down the road. I currently own a 1999 Formula and plan to sell it for a 3rd gen Trans Am. I've noticed many for sale on Autotrader.com, but are there any other good sites (not including this one) that have 3rd gen Trans Ams for sale? I'm thinking of the fuel-injected 305 engine and t-tops.

Car: '89 Trans Am GTA
Engine: WAS 350 - now L92 (alum. 378/6.2L)
Transmission: WAS 700R4, now a built T56
Axle/Gears: 3.27 9-bolt
You might also try CamaroZ28.com, they cater to all years (not just 82-92), but they probably have a larger user base...

Good luck & welcome!

I would recommend trying the autotrader.com. Their search system can let you pick out exactly how much your willing to spend and how far you would be willing to go get it.

Welcome to the boards.

Welcome, if i were you'd i'd be looking for the injected 350, much cheaper to make fast.....TRUST me, lol good choice on ditching the 4th gen and coming to our side, you'll like em, cleaner lines, less ecm bs, motors arent under the dash ya know the good stuff....

Might wanna talk to carbed 87 maybe he'd make ya a deal on his, with his liscence getting flushed and all, its not a 305 but its damn clean
