Car: 1986 Saleen mustang.
Engine: Turbo 5.0.
Transmission: T5.
Axle/Gears: 3.55
NASA open track event 9/30 -10/1
Come out and put those rockin 3rdgens on a real race track.
NASA will be hosting a weekend of HPDE and racing including American Iron and Camaro Mustang challenge.
The track is located in Hastings Nebraska and is brand spankin new.
I will be there with my new Camaro tearing it up.

Engine: WAS 350 - now L92 (alum. 378/6.2L)
Transmission: WAS 700R4, now a built T56
Axle/Gears: 3.27 9-bolt
Oh MAN, I would be TOTALLY into that - road racing is (imho) a LOT more "technically challenging" than drag or oval-track racing! 
(Of course I'm a bit biased too, I spent a few years working on an ITE-class-champion Z28, & I freakin' MISS it...)
Unfortunately, I used up the "away" time I have this year by going to Bonneville...
Try & take lots of pics, OK???
