three years ago i bought the rs for 2300 bucks with a broken front end, no paint left on the roof surface rust spots on the rear right quarter, worn leather seats and everyone telling me it would never amount to anything.......Today the car sits with nearly 27K dollars invested and competing in teh rocky mountain rod and custom show at the western complex....i wish i could take her out and drive her for our "anniversary" but its all good, and it all started with a quickie sketch of mine and my buddies ideas for "the perfect car" i definately wish my buddy was here to see her sitting in all her glory up there with the best of the best

Bittersweet anniversary, to be sure. May 4th is similar for me. My dad passed away that day in 1999. Two days later I bought the Camaro. He always followed my projects, this one he never knew about.
