The Bird is down, I repeat the Bird is down...
I just got done putting the new Governer cover on there, and the damn thing still leaks. Oh well.
But, I filled it back up and drove it. 2, and 4 are gone.
When its in 2nd gear it won't grab till it hits 3,500rpms, it grabs hard then. But I don't need it that high, thats bad. Either way, I'm tired of ****ing with a tranny. I'll just rebuild one, or if enough money comes along, have someone rebuild it over the winter.
I probably need a new band for the tranny, but I'm gonna ignore it for now and go with the proven daily driver, my 93' Escort. That damn thing apprently has more will to live than the GTA.

I swear at my car all the time. I guess I should be swearing at the transmission.
The killer is that we fixed the damn thing saturday. Then the servo gasket got pinched and I lost 4th gear, and TC lockup.
After fixing that, I sprung a leak from the governor cover, only it didn't leak when the car wasn't running. ONLY when the pump was working. I leaked all my fluid out and fried the band. Grr......
