I was wondering if anybody knows of any junkyards that have 4th Gen's in them? I need a driver-side manual mirror assembley for my '95. It sux cause my mirror works off a 3 cable system and one of the cables broke off the back of the mirror, so it won't tilt towards the window.

The more money I can save getting a new mirror housing, the better chance I can send it out to paint.

Dont know the name of the place, but try some of the yards out in Valporaiso. I know one of them had a few 4th gens at last count.

Cause the only yard I knew of was u-pull-it in the heights and those two 4th G's are all played out. Anyone wanna take a field trip? I'm free the rest of today, thursdays, & fridays. I know there are some out there and had a friend of a friend find out about 4th gen brakes for me. I know they were a few 4th gen there, but no 98+ for me

Dom if you find a yard that actually has 4th gens in it, would you grab the drvr seat harness for me?

I just need the piece that would be on the body harness and a few inches of wire.

Have the 4th gen seats now and need the body harness side connector or another thirdgen seat side connector.

Prefer body harness side form a 4th gen first, if u see one grab it for me or if you cant get it let me know so I can go back

Sure, I'm gonna make a few calls today to see if some other auto wreckers/junkyards have 93-97 parts available. I'll make sure I bring up your stuff.

I think U-pull-it in Chi-heights still has two camaros w/ ample interior parts. The outsides and dash are completely raped, but something like that may have stayed in tact.

 

Dom.....check out 4th gen seats for me too. i only need the fronts since i can't use the backs obviously.

 

I could steve, but I need to replace mine too. I could at least get you a passenger seat if you come with, lol.

Today, however, I did find my mirror at U-Pull-It. Last place I thought I'd find it. After a few calls without any luck I figured I'd give the old stayby a shot. Only broke my wallet for $56. The color matches and everything, just a few deep scratches and scuffs that didn't come out after I cleaned it. I'm gonna wait another pay-period to repaint it, I just needed to bolt it up for the time being so I could use my mirror again.

I am gonna be in the hunt for a new seat track next. Although my cloth is fraying a-lil-bit, I can live with it for now. After that, re-weather stripping my rear hatch. Anyone know how to do that?

Jay, if I see/hear about any seats I'll send you a holla. What color interior are you hoping for? Jer, I haven't forgotten about the harness. While I'm rumaging around for my track I'll prod-around for them wires.
