How much fluid is used........?????
Hey guys,
How much anti-freeze does a stock V8 GTA Radiator need for the entire cooling system?
How much Trans fluid does a 700R4 need?
Thanks for the help... I have gotten conflicting viewpoints.

The stock radiator needs as much as it'll take. Just 50/50 the antifreeze with water if you drive the car year round. Otherwise, 70 (water)/30 (antifreeze) it.
[edit] Also, don't just fill up the radiator and put the cap on if you had the hoses disconnected. Keep the cap off and keep topping it off until it's full. You'll have to watch it to be sure. Worst case scenario, use a gallon of 50/50, then use water, and test the antifreeze before winter to be sure it's strong enough.
I'd say to just run water, but then you're scrambling on the first cold night of the winter to drain the water and put antifreeze in so you don't crack the block... ask me how I know. lol

Get 2 gallons of straight antifreeze and mix it 50/50 with water.
Should leave you a little bit left if everythign was dry.
