Some Questions.....

Well, the SD harness deal fell thru, so i am switching to an 87' harness. Yes, i gave up on the 85 harness. Anyways, I am having some issues w/ the distributor. The 85 is an in cap distributer, and the 87 is a remote coil. I was just wonderin what kind of adapters there are so i can use my 85' distributer. Another option is using the 87' distrbuter, but its in sort of sad shape and i would rather use the 85' if its viable.

Fuel pump is powered by the fuel pump relay and also has a backup system routed thru the oil pressure sensor.

If the relay is bad and you crank until I believe 4-6psi oil pressure it will fire the pump up.

Wiring issues here can cause issues and vice versa

later

actually.... I finally figured out what the problem was and it is sickening! I did not know there was a god damn fuse for the fuel pump near the battery! Anyways, that fuse was blown this whole time. I missed 3rd gen fest and have not been driving my damn car all this time because of a little 20 amp fuse!

i've never seen a fuse for the fuel pump near the battery it's always been in the fuse block.

I know what you mean, that's the stupidest placement idea I've ever seen. I thought i was crazy searching the fuse block for the FP fuse and finally found it in a weatherpack up there.
