Emissions

I know Illlinois has stopped testing vehicles 95 and older. Indiana has harse emissions tests and I know I probably will not pass. I was thinking about registering the car to my grandparents house in Calumet City. However, I do not know if the car still has to be tested since it has not been tested in Illinois before.

Anybody know for sure?

Re: Emissions

I think in IL after 1/1/07 no test on anything 95 and older. No matter what. They are doing away with the old test lanes. No lanes no test. Atleast thats what i heard

Re: Emissions

I just got my car back together and failed bad on Hydrocarbons (unburned fuel)......check some vacum lines, egr valve, and then learn the block that i just put in had a different cam in it..so retarded timing to make it run leaner and passed with flying colors.
