Beautiful IROC--that thing looks brand new (and I guess it should with only 25k miles). That car is collector quality from what I can see.

sharp car, good work on cleaning the engine bay, of all the hot-rods, turbo'd trucks i have had.... that is always my weak spot. can't make em shine worth a dang!!!

 

Beautiful car!!! Answers my question of were there any '85 L69's made with t-tops. So that's what my engine bay would look like with 100k fewer miles.

 

Oh man...this things got low miles..all original...AND a Camaro Conteur interior!!! Wow you own one of my fav third gens.

 

Actually Jeremy the camaro logo goes even up the seats and the back too! So there a few more "camaro camaro camaro....etc"

Love Love Love those '85 L69 5-speed Irocs. I'm not a fan of the red interior either (on a red exterior color) , I need some contrast, but I might be able to make an exception on a Lear Siegler interior! Regardless, nice Iroc!

 

I for the life of me can't find a stamp stating the manufacturer, I'll have to get some pictures whenever the next time I go to the garage that it's being stored in

when I first found the car listed online I could've sworn it said it was an automatic transmission and after driving 10 hours to pick the at up I was more than excited to find out it was a standard and I was a bit iffy about the interior but it grew on me quickly

That's got to be the same car! That's the exhaust the previous owner described to me.

 

oh I forgot to add that part, when I got the car home and looked in the trunk there was a binder with a bunch of paperwork from multiple previous owners, I decided to keep it in the trunk and when I went to snap these pictures I went through it and matched the last name up with the name used to start this thread, it's a small world in a way! i wish to know more about the exhaust system if someone could help out!

Yes, he told me he put a GMMG exhaust on it because he wanted it louder. I was trying to buy the factory exhaust from him but he said he'd already thrown it away. Arrrgggghhh...

 

I'm impressed with the sound but I wouldn't mind going louder, thrown away?!? one mans trash is another mans treasure

That is a great example of what i consider a "heavy hitter" in the 80's!!! what a great performing, RARE car!!!! you will be able to help a lot of people trying to restore their cars on here because yours is so un-touched!!! VERY jealous! I hope to get my 84 to that level one day!!!! GREAT BUY!!!

 

I appreciate it!! I'm very fortunate to come across this car being so original and I almost feel guilty for even driving it but my mothers first car was a z28 and traded it in to get an iroc when they first came out and I think it was passed in my blood because I've wanted a third gen for as long as can remember, I might be paying for alittle while but to me it's worth every penny.

 

Don't ever feel guilty about driving it.
