Need some head work. Any recommend a good shop?
Just need small work done. Mainly having thenn checked over, decked and new valve seals.
I have a pair of heads with Beehive springs for my lt1. The current heads on my lt1 are diff castings. The replacement head have bad valve seals mainly on cyl 2 and 4.
Anything else I should do to em before I bolt em on? Any good shops to have em done? What will all this run me?
Thanks

If you are going to go through the trouble of replacing the heads, get some mild port work done. Even a simple good valve job can net some nice gains.

not sure your time frame but high-flo heads out of alsip is the only place i'd go imho.........but to second the previous, dont just slap them on,almost not worth it. even a mild port or just a bowl blend and a casting cleanup with a good 3 to 5 angle valve job will reap bennies and not too much coin for the dollar.
