What clutch and throw out bearing do I need?

I have a lt1 with a T56 Trans. I bought a McLeod 6913-07 RST twin disc small ring clutch kit. I installed the clutch and found out the manual throw out want work. I really want to stay away from the hydraulic throw out bearing if I can. McLoed hydraulic throw out bearing is another $590. I would like to stick with McLoed clutch but maybe a different one. Is it possible to keep the manual throw out bearing? If I have to swap the clutch which McLoed clutch is recommended along with the throw out bearing?

Re: What clutch and throw out bearing do I need?

Anything can be fabbed to work with anything.
The simplest, most production-based combo of parts that work is preferable.

Their throwout bearing and the RS don't fit in the LT1 bellhousing. (note I have an LT1 T56 with third gen throwout bearing and mechanical linkage. Brief history note: I attemped McLeod parts and didn't use them. But it was educational to try.) So you're at a minimum, running a spacer somewhere, cutting a driveline, and shortening a torque arm.

Fabbing to use the stock hydraulics, fork, and throwout bearing accomplishes nothing beneficial.

Let the twin disc wide-eyed factor wear off and install a single disc pull clutch.
