What kind of cameras do you guys have?

Thought I'd ask what kind of cameras everyone will be bringing. I can only bring a 2.1MP camera, so it will do good for some pics, but I'd like to get some nice pics with a great camera.

Anyone have like a 4-5MP one? What kind of memory card does it use, or even CD.

I'll try and bring my laptop so I can download the pics if memory needs to be freed up.

a buddy of mine has a video camera that also takes digital pics too, I plan on snagging it from him for the weekend.
it's got a PC hook up and it can take a TON of pics.

I'm also thinking of bringing the bike up too, just for $hits and giggiles. I can run around the campsite and make alot of noise.
later

Hey guys, I'll be bringing down a Canon EOS 3000 camera. It's 35mm (no digital), but it really gets the job done.

Mark: you're right, all those poor people smacking their own heads when they miss this. As long as my car lasts through the winter without another errant driver wrecking my front end, I won't be one of them!

I'll be bringing my Olympus Camedia 3.3MP digital, and a couple cards. I can bring a USB cable and some software if you want to upload them on your laptop.

i'll also be bringing my Olympus 35mm film camera. In my opinion i can get a better picture out of it, so for those that i really want a good pic of, i'll use that...

We have a Cannon D30 at our disposal, because the lenses are fit for both digital and film. Matt (the boss) is looking to upgrade to the D50 model when they become available. My personal is an Olympus C4000, 4.1mp. has alot of settings and a good value at $500.00. can take about 55 pics in SHQ mode, on a 64mb card (camedia), have another spare 128mb to make some 8X10 quality pics.

Olympus (medium cropping/78% compression/600X450jpg./no enhancement)

Cannon D30 (original pic no proccessing/600X400 jpg.

I've got a Canon AE-1, with a 20mm-400mm zoom/telephoto lense, and a Kalimar SDZ-56 flash. Does the job quite well for a 23 year old camera.

I just bought an Olympus D-550.. pretty good camera for the price $300 3.0 megapixels with 2.8 optical zoom and 3.6 digital zoom (never use it) and i bought a 128 mb smartmedia card for it, so i'll have that card plus the 16 mb that came with it plus the 64 mb card that from the free mail in rebate from olympus I'll have plenty of room. And I think 874mula can testify that Olympus makes a pretty good product.

I don't see why not, then again, I've never seen a vid like that, I know at the track I went to they'll let you have a passenger, so I don't see the harm.

This is an in car shot from Mikes ASC Maclaren. Our track is real strict with stuff hangin around the inside of the car, as long as it is good and tight, there probably won't be any problems.

Take A Look !!

Digital movie cameras don't produce very good still pictures. They're only around 1 Megpixel.
