Racing?

Is there going to be any racing on the track at the nationals, I think it would be real cool to do a quarter mile race if theres a track to do it on.

Yeah, I'd shell out a few extra bones. $4K sounds like alot, but it depends on how many folks will be going.

well, with the head count I have coming now, everyone would have to pay around $45 now, which should lower as time grows nearer, but still

Der, anyone word from the track yet?

How far is track from fairgrounds? I ask this because I am traliering my car to event. I don't want to drive car on trailer for parade though. Will I be able to leave truck and trailer at fairgrounds Sunday and go get them later on Sunday after races?

We'll only be at the fairgrounds on Sat. All other times at the campsite unless you get a hotel.

I'm not totally sure on the distance between camping and track, I'd say 15 miles at most.

So where is everyone meeting for the police escort? Is that still a go? Are they letting us parade to the track?

Just a little heads up. If it's raining or has been raining before you get to the track, you lowered guys might want to keep your car outta there. Or at least you can pit on the other side of the guardrail. I was just there to watch today and my 97 Malibu is coated in mud. It was a total mess.
