My Northwestern Route

This is the route that I came up with for my trip from Washington to MD.

I-5 to I-90
I-90 to I-94/90 (it does weird stuff at some points)
I-90 to some other shorter distances (less then 100 miles)
to I-80
I-80 to I-76
Then I-70 to pretty close to the fair grounds.

It is a rather simple route across the top of the US. 45 hrs and 31 minutes (according to Mapquest) and 2816 miles. I would love to join someone as far west as possible w/o leaving this route. I will be leaving on the 14th (probably), which will make for a not bad drive out. 5.5 days to do it. Yeah, no problem.

Douglas

5.5 days, LMFAO, you're nuts.

I'd maybe post it on your regional board, to find others to join in.

I don't get along w/ most of the people in the Cascade Crew regional board, and nobody from my club can go at this point. It doesn't matter a whole lot, I drove the entire US by myself once already.

LOL, no, we split clubs in a slighly more Southern base and a slightly more Northbased club. Southern being the Cascade Crew and the Northern being PNW3.

Douglas,

If your taking I90/94 you should be coming through Milwaukee, WI. If so, my friends and I are leaving thursday afternoon to meet up with Robert in Youngstown. Let me know if you want to meet up on the way.

Kevin

Thanks,

Hmm not sure, let me think of a good place to meet. It will most likely be around noon that we will take off though. When it gets a little closer I can give you my cell phone number or something and we can work it all out

Nah, Mark, give me a time and a place and I can make it.

Okay, that sounds good, I will have my cell w/ me. Unfortunately after I leave I won't have internet access, so hopefully nothing will change after June 14th.

hey loomdog,
if you are coming through columbus, oh, i am heading north on thurs (i think its the 19th) to meet up with robertg in youngstown.
even though it would be easier to take i-70 straight into md. i think it would be more fun to meet up with a lot of people, and form a large caravan.
just let me know.
i can also provide a place to stay for anyone coming through columbus before leaving for youngstown.
