60' was a consistent 2.5 though. Poor little 305, it tried it's best, 383 here we come.

I need a lot of work as a driver too, 5 speed swap should be going in soon as well as a new rear with stouter gears and a posi and also a new exhaust(headers and true duals). Sadly the engine will be last since it will be the most expensive.

which 305 is that you have, its gotta be a lo3 or lg4, which one?
Sorry about that, yeah it's the L03. But I'll be doing an auto to 5 speed swap in a few weeks, then a rear swap, then a tbi to carb, and while I'm doing all that I'll be buying and building(a little bit at a time) a 383 stroker or a SB 400. Hopefully all of that will put at a respectable time.
