Dissappointing results, but...

After getting my headers installed and a 3" exhaust system I was hoping for some high 8s (in the 1/8th). Was running 9.0 before.

Car was running unusually hot. 220 with a 160 stat. I decided to take it down anyways. Well, got crappy traction and ran a 9.3. Shrugged it off, oh well, car was hot. Ran again, car was even hotter, I planned to let it cool down after this run. Ran another 9.3, thought I got better traction but 60' times were only .07 better.

Then the storm came in and they cancelled the rest of the night. I left, quite dissappointed, but really wondering why my car was running so hot. A quick visual inspection showed nothing wrong at the track. Drove it home, temperatures were still pretty high even at highway speeds.

Got home and examined the new radiator and heater hoses that were installed. What do you know, one of them broke and was leaking fluid everywhere. I'm lucky I didn't drive much more cause I woulda been SOL. So now I gotta wait till next week to get my new times
