Time for the CAGE
Took out the RS after i put in the 3 core radiator tonite. Well after braking the T-handle clean off my B&M megashifter i managed to pull the elusive 11.98 and then backed it up with a 11.99. Made 5 runs and those were my last 2. My 60 foot times were 1.70 and 1.65 respectively. BFG drag radials work well with my Spohn suspension. Time to find me a couple more tenths and get a roll cage installed.

Roll BAR not cage! All you need is a simple 6 point roll bar. There's nothing stopping you from installing a complete cage but it's not needed.
Don't forget that installing a roll bar is going to add at least 70 pounds to the car which will slow you down again.
Also running into the 11's you'll need the following:
A single layer fire jacket and a 5 point harness.
You need screw-in valve stems on all tubeless tires.
Aftermarket axles with "positive retention device" (c-clip eliminator, ford 9", disk brakes etc).
An SFI harmonic balancer

Yeah bar, that is what i meant!! Thanks for clearing that up. Gee i didn't remember reading about all that other stuff. I knew about the fire jacket but the damper and axle thing is new to me. Thanks for the heads up though. My tech guys won't even look for that stuff. Heck i just tell them it runs mid 12's.
Some tracks really stick to the rules, and some are more lenient. One time I got down the track at 13.9 or so, and took my helmet as I was turning around at the end of the track. Right before I picked up my slip, some track guy was like "you need to wear a helmet since your running that fast" I was like, "I was, why else would it be sittng in my passenger seat.
