nice runs. That's good for stock, unless you aren't. The only way to improve on those times is the launch. Looks like you launched well with those '60s, i'm guessing u didn't spin. Good job. Oh, and corrected times are only for altitude. Did you hear about the 3rd gen meeting at Dukes Island park next saturday? If you want in check the NE board for info and directions.

I believe in corrected times for density altitude so temperature, barometric pressure and humidity are all needed.
Humidity does affect the final results but not as much as the other 2. What was the barometric pressure. That will determine a corrected time more than anything else.
Last week we had low BP and high temperature. Although it looked like a nice day for racing, the density altitude peaked at 6000 feet. Everyone was off at least 1/4 of a second from what they normally run.
e-town is at 60' elevation so there is no "altitude" correction.

I don't understand how my best R/T could have gone with my slowest run. I'm stock in my engine and plan on being that way for a while. Is there anything I can do to get down into the 15's??? Thanks

Reaction time doesn't affect the ET. You could sit at the starting line for 5 minutes when the green light comes on. The timer doesn't start until you break the starting beam.
You did something wrong in the first 1/8 mile. If you look at the difference in time from the 60' mark to the 1/8 mile you'll see the run is slower. Chances are you didn't shift at the same RPM since all the shifting should be done in the first 1/8 mile.
