sounds real close, should be there with ok traction. Maybe put a larger cam in it and that will for sure do it.

 

irocfast, i gotta know more about your car, i'm desperate to get into the 12 second bracket and clueless as to why i'm not there, my engine should make more than enough hp to do it, so it has to be something else.

 

i just want to be in the 13s!!

you have alot of goodies on that 84 camaro you should be there/close...

Sounds like it should be easily into the 13's. The most important thing is traction. Ive seen guys at my local track with 400 hp engines running 14's because they spin the whole way down the track. Also what hood are you using? Make sure you have plenty of hood clearance. Especially with that Victor JR intake.

 

That traction thing is so true. I talked to a 6speed ls1 camaro owner who had a whisper lid and computer computer programming. He could not break into 13;s because of traction(poor driving). It should have been a low 13 or high 12 sec car on that beutiful 75degree day.
