Question about 1/8 mile time. Need 1/4 mile estimate.

My friend, (a fellow board member) took the car out to make his license passes at the track on Sat. Long story short, he couldn't keep the car out of the 9's on his moderate passes. He was jamming the brakes at the 1000' marker and was still running mid nines. (last pass was a 9.48@125) We do have a solid 60' to go off of, but we are having trouble figuring out the 1/4mile time from this.
1/8.... 6.0 @ 117
this was with a 1.44 60' (only running 26* timing at launch)
This is a supercharged car, so it pulls like mad up top, if that makes a difference in your calculation.
The first pass made with the car(and reason for the license) was a 9.49 @ 149mph. This run was with a 1.66 60' and a long gradual rolling into the throttle.
With the given info... can anyone estimate a 1/4 mile time?
Sorry for the rambling.

NO......
6.0 @ 117mph in the 1/8th
his first pass ever with the car was a 9.49@149mph with a $hitty 60". That is why we were there for the license.

If you can get it to leave correctly with some low 1.3 60fts it should run well in the 8's @150+. I had a buddy run a 9.09@149 with a 1.35 60ft but his 1/8 mph was 123. What kind of combo is your buddy running? When yall get that thing to leave it will be nasty!

Good rule of thumb 1/8 mile time x 1.57 = qtr mi time

the 60' is everything. with a 149 mph WOT through the traps you should get an 8.90-9.0 when it is sorted out assuming the car hooks well.
