Cool weather racing RULEs!

I raced my 91 Formula 350 for the first time tonight in cool weaahter. I acheived seriously better times than ever before, without having changed anything else. I has always heard it was better racing in cool weather but now I really see why. I only raced the 1/8 mile near my house.

Previous best
ET=9.06x, 60'= 2.09x

Best tonight
ET =8.82x, 60'=1.97x

Pretty significant difference.

Im only racing in the winter from now on.

Thanks. I need to get to Houston Raceway Park to run the 1/4 mile. Itis about 2 hours from here and the 1/8mile is only 20minutes so I always end up going there. I have been told that these times relate to about a low 14 pass in the 1/4 mile. It looks like your car is similar tomine. What are you 1/8mile times when you run 14.3 to 14.5?, just curious.

What?

Around 9.27in the 1/8th with a 14.3 to 14.5? Wow, I have been told my 1/8 mile times relate to low 14s, must be very low 14s then with 8.8 and 8.9 in the 1/8th. My car has 84,000 miles on it. I got it last January and it just had turned over 80,000. I am only driving it on the weekends pretty much now, so that should keep the mileage down. Your car looks good, I love black. I really like the 91 firebird body style. Are you planning on doing some mods? I am buying a Borla exaust system as my christmas present to myself. According to my Lingenfelter book this it the best performance catback you can get for these cars. Supposed to sound pretty badass too.
