Does anyone know of any organized autox in the central ca area. I live in Paso Robles 3hrs north of LA ...... 4 so of Frisco..... I have a 87 firebird with a pretty stock 305 putting 230 hp to the wheels and 300 lbs there also. I race in (can't figure out how to add a hyperlink) www.camaromustangchallenge.com go there and find out about some real fun you can have with 3rd gen cars. Thats how I know what I have at the wheels .... we have to dyno the cars for this spec type class. Link to HPDE and you will find you can run Sears pt. Laguna Seca, Buttonwillow, T-Hill and lots of other famous tracks across the country with your street car and a helmet and they will even rent or loan you one of those. But they don't have an auto x near here. I see all that some of you guys are doing to your cars and it sounds great.... but we basically strip a 3rd gen put in a cage, racing seats, harnesses and very little to the motor. and we get those proven numbers to the ground. we also have to weigh 3200 lbs .... man it is an e ticket. So if anybody has any type of extra factory peromance parts especially 1le laying around and they want to sell them post me, or call me 805 238 4211 ..... we run toyo proxy's ra1 shaved and I really am looking for a set of 20 slot 16x8 rims as long as their straight. lets deal ..... Thanks Bud
