which slicks to use?
I have a 115"wheelbase altered with a mild 468 BBC and a powerglide. I will be footbraking, torque converter is 3200-3800 10". The car has old hard 14x32x15 slicks on it. The rearend has 4.56 gears and weight of vehicle should be around 2000lbs. Should I put 14x33x15's on it or 14x32x15's and should I use stiff sidewalls or not? The cam is 236duration@.050" lift and it has .540" lift. 850 carb dual plane intake oval port heads and zoomie headers.

If the vehicle is geared properly to cross the finish line at or near the red line then keep the same size tires.
That's a lot of gear for such a light vehicle. You shouldn't need stiff sidewall tires for it.

slicks
I'll probably go with 14x32's but I noticed the goodyear 14x32's were stiff sidewall and I know they are mainly for heavier cars, but since I am not using a transbrake and not really making that much power, I was thinking I could still use them and get traction and have more stability at higher speeds. I have a sliderule that shows 6000rpm with 32" tires to be right at 125 mph, so I should be good in that respect.
