bumper stops?
bumper stops?
I guess this is what you call them...
it ' s the bumper that hits the rear axle when the frame comes down.
I'm doing some clearancing for a larger tire.
Has anybody totally done away with them?
Has anybody relocated them before?
thanks,
Shad Haynes

"Bump stops"
They cushion the diff before it hits the frame when hitting a big bump. I don't have the rubber blocks any more but the mounts are still there.
It depends on how much suspension travel you have. If the springs are very stiff and the car isn't lowered, you'll probably never hit the stops.
