I know, it's a pretty general topic, and i'm sure this is pretty biased toward steven 87 iroc and camaro85500...or whatever his name is. But where do you have your battery on/off switch at, do you have to have one if the batter is mounted in the front still?

A rear master switch is required when the battery is not in the stock location. So if you keep the battery mounted up front, you don't need a rear master switch until you run 9.99 in the 1/4 mile.

Mine is mounted on the right side beside the license plate. There's enough room behind the cover for the wires. The cables then go through the body to the batteries.

Make sure you buy a rulebook whenever you need specific instructions on rules.

My switch is mounted in the similar location.

Your local speed shop or track should have them. You can also buy them from Jegs and Summit. $10. You don't really need to buy a new one every year. The rules change slightly but only for the more specialized classes. The rules in ET brackets change very little. Usually when the oldest helmet requirement has expired etc.
