New best @ track
Last MM (track run) I pulled a 14.67 & after that a new ignition coil was put in (the one being replaced was spent). So I managed a new best of 14.51 with the new coil! What makes me even happier is I know I can pull a 14.3x because the 14.51 run was on a 1.99 60' and my car is capable of 1.88 60's.
Yay.
I had no idea how much a burnt coil retards the performance of our cars... jeez.

When I did the ignition I went with Accel all around, as IMO MSD is little steep pricewise... The 14.67 was with Accel 8.8mm wires, Cap&rotor & fresh AC Delco stock plugs, but on the spent coil.
I intended to order an accel superstock coil (the one below the supercoil), but I lazied it up and just bought a new Wells OEM coil from autozone. Still - the new coil made a difference of .16! Whats even cooler is it has the potential to make a difference of a low.2x with my 1.88 60' if I can pull it again. I would be stoked if I could pull just one or two 14.4x runs with the car in its current trim.
