First run with new motor.
Also my first run at the strip as well. Only an 1/8th mile track, but here's my best run.
60' - 2.171
1/8th mile 9.171 @ 77.95mph
I didn't think it was too bad for being my first time at the track, and running crappy stree tires, with stock torque convert, and 2.77 gears and one worn out suspension. Motor is HO 350, with SLP runners, SD Intake, and the other typical TPI mods. Planning on redoing suspension in the next few weeks, and rear will most likely be a end of summer project, but funds permitting will see what happens

I think you have the right idea about suspension upgrades, as your 60' time can be improved significantly. Nonetheless, with the crappy street tires, and tall *** gears you managed a respectable 1/8... but you want more dont you? Yeah you do
