what will I run?

I have a posi rear, 88 350, Iroc suspension, shift kit, auto. I'm not sure on the posi ratio yet, haven't checked.

What should I run?

Depending on tune of car and your ability, I'd say most likely 14.4-14.8 , just a guess though.

slow305, how did you get to that exact number? did you have the same setup at one point?

I found out that the rear is a stock 2.73. not great for drag racing, but it will do for now.

I didn't use the search engine either and just made a guess. Sorry, just getting tired of the "What will I run?" threads. Use the search function to find cars with similar mods or just go to the drag strip and find out. That's what I did.

I suggested a "database" for 1/4-mile times like on the SE-R board and the Lightning board

Pat
'90 Formula (LB9), guessed 14.7-14.8 but went 14.4

I think using a search for that type of question would be very difficult, however, I've never done it.

Slow305, what part of MD you from? I'm in Bowie.

Don't be such a dick. Nobody's setup is the same, so how can he search for something so vague?

I'm up for creating one. I could probably do something where you could browse it by engine size and mods. I think it could make for a good summer project.

If nobody's setup is the same, how can anybody predict what someone's 1/4-mile time will be???

Hey man, I wasn't trying to start an argument or anything, I was just hoping someone with a setup like mine would see it and tell me what I should run before I have the chance to make it to the strip.

slow305, sorry for the bother of you having to type out a few numbers. if you're so sick of these kind of threads, why not just skip over them and go on to something else?

Every once in awhile, I can't see through the noise.
