Back from VIR ...

... after three days at the track, it's time to relax.
Hot, humid and afternoon rain.
I managed a few pictures, as I was instructing Sat & Sun. Friday was an Instructor clinic with a couple hours of track time.
Took the 3rd Gen to break in a new engine, and broke an axle seal.

Very nice photos man. I only wish there was a track here where I could go. I've done the whole Solo 2 thing but I want to actually race against people at the same time, not their time. Maybe one of these days....

so this was a NASA event? how come I see a few photos of an SCCA T2 Mustang and ITS Porsches? Does NASA allow SCCA class cars to run with NASA cars? Nice photos also.

Do you have any experience with SCCA? Do you think SCCA A sedan or NASA's multiple classes for 3rd gens is more competitive/better? I see that NASA allows more mods, but does this cause some cars to be a lot faster than others in the same class?

Great pictures!! How do you like NASA? I was thinking about running my car in AI next year - maybe even at Watkins Glen in Oct.?? I used to race it in the late 80's & early 90's in IMSA's Firestone Firehawk series... Car has been in storage the last 10 years and I am finally getting it "race ready" again. Can't wait to get it back on the track...
