got a question

next spring/early summer i am planning on going to Cedar Falls RaceWay with my newly aquired 1992 Camaro RS with bone stock 305 TBI. im curious as to what times i can expect from it. i knwo it should be a second or two faster than my old car(1993 Grand am) which ran 17.19 cant remeber the mph tho. any ideas would be great.

Hey, come next season get a hold of me so we can meet since I race out there every weekend, I know they could use some more guys in the street class up there so if ya got some buds, I'll give ya the education and you make it happen-then I can collect my fees after you take the finals. Unless your really slow, bring stickies, then we'll get ya on your way to knocking out some of my old competetion.

More tha likely your gonna be running above the 14.00 sec helmet rule, but hey a helmet may save ya if something should go terribly wrong with your ride or the opponets so it's cheap insurance. Get some window chaulk, tire gauge, and something to keep track of your runs-cheap log book is the easiest. Keeping track of your runs-especially if you get a weather station-will help you to keep the car dialed in tight. Once I got my weather station mid season I won the next 4 of 6 events, they're that helpful!!

BONE STOCK, with nothing done to it at all I ran 16.3 @82 mph. I think I was capable of high 15's, but never got the proper chance to see at the track.
