Adjustable shocks to help launching/traction

My father has QA1 Hal Adjustable shocks on his GN & its kool to soften the front & rear of the car to help it launch better. Has anyone tried these on a f-body & had good results? How about KYB AGX's?

Thanks

I use Koni SPA1 (full drag shocks and struts). All adjustable shocks are just a tuning aid. Settings on one car may not be what another car wants. I set mine on the softest setting and have never touched them since. The rear shocks should be adjusted depending on track conditions. Stiff when track conditions are good, soft when conditions are poor.

It's possible that if I play with settings that I may pick up a few more tenths but I don't have the track time to change stuff to see what works best under different track conditions.
