hey, my friend has a stock 89 rustang 5.0 only with headers and flowmaster exhaust. I want to know what i can do to my TBI setup to beat him in the quarter.

What "can" you do to beat him? A lot.
What "must" you do to beat him? Same answer.
Doesn't much matter if stick or auto.
Check out the TBI forum. They have the answers. (Figure on exhaust, heads, cam, and PROM tuning after the basics, perhaps gears and higher stall converter after that.)

) 5.0s.He wants to know what he can do so that he can beat his freinds car. If his freinds car has a 5-speed it's going to take alot more "mods" than if it was an auto.

Do you have to be emmissions legal?
Is his car stick or auto?

the mustang isn't all that fast but neither is the l03.. stock anyways. i say do the same he did.. do headers, cat back.. maybe throw a LT1 cam in it too and some new 3.42's and you shouldn't have a problem
