what is this going to run
guys i had a 305tbi in my 89 trans am. block cracked, i found a 350tbi well.. first bad news when i striped it was that the guy seized it.. needs a new crank, now a couple days later i take it to the machine shop and tell me it's going to need to be bored. the 350 came from a 89 chevy truck. 4 bolt main. my question is about how much power is this thing actually going to be and how fast will it run in the 1/4 mile. to be honest with you i didn't want a race car but i wanted something that ran in mid 13's or so. but now with all this new stuff what do you guys think it will run:
350 tbi
bored .30 over
federal pistons
LT1 cam
305 TPI heads
edelbrock performer tbi intake manifold
k&N open element and xstream air lid
3.42 posi rear
flowtech headers
flowtech y pipe
gutted cat
ravin or hooker cat back
also with that how is my bad gas mileage lookin?

Machine work is always the expensive part of a block. Unless the cylinders are in very good shape and just need to be cleaned up, new pistons should always be used with a new overbore.
Since you're using poor flowing 305 heads and only an LT1 cam, your engine isn't going to make a lot of hp. If you intend on doing any kind of big buildup, changing pistons from a stock piston means the crank, conrods and pistons should all be balanced. I don't think you'll be spinning the engine fast enough to require a balance but it's extra cost needed to build a good engine.
Power from an engine is mainly determined from the cam and heads. Using low performance parts will get low performance results no matter what other "bolt on's" are on the engine.

i heard the 305 tpi heads were better then the tbi heads. and i heard the lt1 cam is a pretty good cam to use.. i mean not the best but i originally got it for my 305. the pistons i am getting said with a 58cc head which is what i have my compression will be 11.6.1

The chamber size of the head will only change the compression ratio. Power is in how much they flow and 305 heads were only really designed to flow enough air into a 305 engine. They also have small valves which will put even more of a bottleneck on the engine.
