estimation for my car... need to know

estimation for my car... need to know

okay.. tell me what you think i'll get
305 LG4 engine in base firebird (no power options)
2.73 open rear
edelbrock headers, huge y-pipe, hi-flo cat, 3in cat back, open element.
auto
good treaded tires.
132,000 miles on engine. puffs a little blue smoke when started... any ideas?

this is a side note but i dont know if u know but blue smoke usually means ur exhaust seals on ur heads are goin bad, id say 16s also

Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
Mine was similar when stock except no headers (and I replaced the valve stem seals). With 3.08 open rear, letting the transmission shift itself, over a season of tweaking it got down to sea level corrected 15.7's.

Your car is probably a little heavier (I was going down the track at just under 3500 lbs), and your gears not quite as good, so I'll say the same 16's that others are estimating.
