This was the first time I ever took the car to the track. I went to Englishtown, N.J. On a hot 84 degree day with a full 16 gallon tank of fuel.

Kinda dissapointed, thought I would pull a 15.7 atleast.

I think I launched like a wimp, around 1,500 RPM's no wheelspin at all.


1992 Z-28 LB9 auto (Bone Stock) 85,000 miles. Perhaps it was the Temp and Weight weighing me down. I weighed in at 3,630lbs with me in the car. ( I weigh 170)

Does that time seem right? Let me hear your best stock LB9 times.

 

Pump the front tires to 45psi leave the rears at 30psi run 1/4
tank of gas, pull the air filters and you`ll run 15.5 on a cool night

 

don't feel bad. on my first time i ran a 15.9 with a stock 350 with tbi at about 120 degrees. my lauches sucked but hey you can only get better and it was fun for me.

 

oh and that was with a worn out 700r4. with my new tranney i am hoping for better.
