Hey man nice meeting you at the track the other night. Lol although trying to talk to your was hard once meeting you was awesome. I was wondering if you could tell me more about those bullet cams? My friend is interested in running one. The guys I was with don't know much but they are still learning which is always a good thing. Once again nice meeting ya.

Race day is always kinda crazy, sorry I did'nt have time to chit chat like I would've liked, but going round robin like we were kinda takes away your normal train of thought and keeps you in the zone...at least that's the case with me, just ask the wife since I really dont talk much to her until I'm on the trailer or a oil down
Just wish I could've won that final, but like I said up in staging when ya'll where up there, I "should've" dialed differently, but I've been burnt more often than not rethinking myself.
Then on top of the raceing, my friends from MN pitted next to me with the RV had a serious electrical meltdown so we were out there until midnight trying to diagnoise and fix, then that turned to best way to cobble to get'em home, then it turned into a recovery effort, so verdict is still out wtf happened, I did'nt even get to celebrate being the first loser that night which sucked since they had a pretty big party going on at the other end of the pits once the race was over.
Anyways, I've always been one to try different things and once I heard about Bullet and all the rave reviews coming from other racers from around the country about how when they give you cam specs they'll be smaller than what you normally expect, but make a ton of power and they're easy on valvetrain components. The price was the same as Comps and it was a custom grind they had shipped to my door in 10 days. As always with ordering a cam, be 100% honest of the cars exact intensions, I told them 90% strip 10% and gave them all the specs with my caar/drivetrain and said I did'nt want to come close to 7000 rpm for max power, I'm currently shifting at only 6000 both gears and it's running damnn good, especially since I can run pump gas on the street when i'm out cruising.
My shortblock is an everyday common relatively stock shortblock like you'd install in a daily driven truck/car, just the good heads and cam is the only real "hop-ups". Not saying this will hold together for yrs without issue, but just proves you dont need a million dollar shortblock to go fast. You've seen my car in person now and I'm sure you've seen plenty of gutted "real" race cars with monster cam, convertor, high compression and I'm right there with my street car, just wish I had the extra coin to get the new 3rd member so the gearing would work with my taller tires, then with this air it'd be consistent high 10.80's to low .90's. Still would like to try a Super vic. or a Dart intake and then hook up some juice for fun.
Try to make it up this Sat. night, CFR is having another night street race and this time they're paying out $300 so it'd be worth racing for. We'll talk to ya later.

Finals, Jerry, Finals!!!
I emailed Eddyville tonight for a time on Sat. Sep. 4th for the race. The labor day weekend link says gates at 8am which would seem right for a Big Bucks event, but when you click on the schedule link, then the Sep 4th Big Buck link it says gates at 12pm. Hopefully they'll get it sorted out and email me back so I know to come down the night before (Fri.) or leave Sat. morning.
Any actual insight you have lemme know
And again, Finals!!! I've been in only 1-1/4 final this year and the rest have been semi finals for points races until last Sat., and have won 4 other final events the tack has put on I entered....so there, LOL
If in fact I have to come Fri. night I'll give ya a call and we can out to eat somewhere that has bar-b-que and brews
