what will i run
I was just wondering what kind of horse power numbers and 1/4 I will be putting down.
I have a 350 bored 40 over with a edelbrock 600 cfm carb, edelbrock performer esp. dual plain intake manifold, speed pro flat top pistons, new crank, comp cam he said a little more aggressive than an rv cam, Reworked stock heads, windage tray, 8.5-9.5 comperation ratio not sure, msd 6al box, blaster 2 coil, head man headers, custom duals all the way back, and v force muffler. 1,000 miles maybe on it
Trans 700r4 fresh rebuild about 100 miles on it, Trans go shift kit, high performance pumps and veins, 2300 stall
Rear end posi out of a fire bird fresh rebuild with 3.43

Step up from an "RV" cam.
"Stock" heads - can we assume they were stock on the late 70's/early 80's smogger 350?
Of course there's only one way to find out for sure, but I'd be suprised if it will run under 14 sec. I'd guess mid-14's at best.

O if this helps before the trans rebuild 135,000 miles and I was a 1 wheel wonder I ran a 9.981 with a 2.5 60’ time that was before I knew how to launch and a sluggish 1 2 shift.
