Day at the dyno
Well today i went to a dyno day tons o fun! only 40 bucks and i got three pulls! i met a cool 88 trans am with a l98 and he had some good numbers considering the dyno was beond off! funny story for me was this quite t/a pulling on the dyno and all the imports doubting it then when he hammerd it that quite exaust rumbled like thunder very cool! made the women scream lol. It came my turn for my monte and with my truedual flowmaster 40's i sounded like a dinosour lol. They had 4 straps on the car i hammerd it and the car jumped foward like a harnessed beast and shot out sideways off the rollers damn near jumpeing off!then they did a 5th stap and i still lauched insanely.. too bad the dyno was gonig crazy and spiting out wrong numbers! good for tuneing my a/f ration though fun stuf!

Almost jumped off the rollers eh?
What about this guy, even though it's a ford it looks like it's making some serious power and look like he stayed put just fine.

I have also seen a few other videos of over 1000 hp cars and they look fairly under control on the rollers.
edit- I had to find a GM video

The numbers are beond disgusting get this 250rwhp and 320 rwt.... also a new gto 6-speed rated at 350rwhp dynoed in at 280hp.a car infront of me spun the tries on the dyno and got 180hp man it was just wrong! everyone one was pissed i mean numbers and the dynos settings where off.on a hot florida night the temp was 99 and the humidity was 35%... i check on the wether channel when i got home it was more like 80%. durnnig my three runs the temp in side went from 99 to 103 to 90? the max cool down was 2 minutes! the scaryest is when an ls1 pulled in an put down 230whrp with airlid full exaust full ignition and a tune. The day started at 9 in the mornnig and the dyno was dead on the gto pulled 345rwhp and by 1 in the afternoon he pulled a whoping 280 by 5 at nite when i got on cars where dynoing at 170-200hp it was just sad. theres a place down the street we should have went to but they where very expensive.Anywho very saddening numbers for me considering i beat that 2002 ws6. oh well hopefuly i can get my 30 bucks back and go to another dyno
