My computer here at work won't play the video, but 9 second Geo Metro????? I'm sorry, but fast or not its a friggin GEO!!!!!!
Mind you, can you imagine how much fun the guy would have with a car like that? When everyone laughs at the fact its a GEO, he'd be the last to laugh after doing a 9 sec 1/4

Well, whatever, the point is that it's not a Geo poweplant.
Believe it or not, there are swaps for the Geo Storm (which is the same car as the Isuzu Impulse) from the turbo Impulse that can hold 450whp on the stock block. Those are very rare though, since they only made like 1,500 Impulses or something like that.

you have to give the GEO guy credit, He worked hard to make that a 9 second ride. And damn its fast like any other 9 sec car. To bad it beat the 3rd gen.

LOL that car is great. Scince you guys dont know him he's over on the turbobuick board all the time, I remember when he was first thinking of putting the car together. It's a stage 1 3.8 motor if I remember, a very mild one at that and he does run a very small shot(like 50hp)on it here and there but not all the time.
A guy I know from the TTA boards drove it not too long ago, with the boost turned down and no spray he went 10.08@132 on the first pass.
